Happy Bed & Breakfast

This was a great find. Booking this b&b was simple using www.hostelworld.com. To get here we walked from the Santa Lucia train station into a maze of Venician houses and buildings all surrounded by water. It was about a 10 minute walk all together. The owner was so nice and very helpful, he even met us at the train station when we arrived. This bed and breakfast was a three bedroom apartment, with the gorgeous view of one of the narrow streets that leads to the canal. There was also a gondola parked right below our room. It was completely magical. We loved it!

We were able to open up our windows at night as it was summer and not raining. The weather was breezy, there was some noise from people passing by the bridge at night, but not so noisy. We would usually catch lovers standing by the bridge over looking the gondola parked right underneath our room.

The room they gave us was very romantic. The lighting, the large open windows with small sitting balconies, and the great view.
